PREPARE YOUR BOY FOR MANHOOD
Boys need the support of their community to become young men who are engaged with the world around them, passionate and in touch with themselves. Our in-person events are for 11 to 19 year old young men. (We are flexible with age and admit boys as young as 9 if they are excited about it and relatively mature.) These gatherings are small and large, local and national.
Our events, held around the mainland US, Canada and Hawaii, answer the core developmental needs of today's youth in a structure that keeps them engaged and connected, while providing them with opportunities to challenge themselves, expand their sense of self, develop their gifts and encounter healthy peer and adult male role models!

As they journey from boyhood to manhood, boys need intentional rites of passage to affirm their departure from boyish ways and into the tasks, challenges and joys of young manhood. The primary task we support at Sonz Youth is engagement. If a boy can develop the confidence to willingly engage with people he cares for it indicates that he feels connected to himself and others. With this safety established, he can then be challenged and urged into new growth edges.

This 4-day in-person adventure camp for young men will take place August 1 - 4, 2024 outside San Diego in Boulevard, CA at Liberty Arising Retreat Center. We invite young men ages 11 to 19 yrs to join us for this transformational experience in the desert.
We will co-create a container of healthy masculinity with up to 50 Young Men and 25 Mentors as we bond, adventure and celebrate together. They will never be the same again!
Transportation: Young men and families can fly into San Diego Airport. We will provide shuttles from the airport to the retreat center and back.
Lodging is provided with dorm and camping options.
Food: All meals provided.
This event is for males ages 11 - 19 years with as young as 9 years considered depending on maturity and desire.
